Mardi Himal Trek
Mardi Himal trek is the less traveled route in Annapurna region. It is best to experience the brilliance of solitary ever snow capped peaks and the great opportunity of an excellent cultural experience and venture of Machhapuchhare Basecamp. The exotic and interesting trail wanders through lush valleys, alpine meadows, lichen-laden dense forests, numerous streams, and waterfalls, all the while the fascinating mountain sceneries glossy upon the close horizon. The path is so less used and non-touristy that you feel like embarking upon a discovery expedition.
the trail starts from the very beautiful city Pokhara having the chance to boat in Phewa Lake and enjoy spectacular views. The trail goes through the pine, Juniper and rhododendron dense forest with raging rivers making a sound then different route take us steeply down to the upper Mardi Khola. The stream has been the ice and the snow of the Mardi Himal. The trail follows through the lovely rice terrace, unique culture villages and spectacular views of livery mountains. The journey of Mardi Himal Trekking ascends through the forest and actuality wildlife. Mardi Himal trekking offers superb Himalayan scenery including the Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna Ranges, Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhare) etc.

The climbing trip can be combined with a trekking adventure in the remote steep-sided valleys heavily wooded with bamboo and rhododendron. Above the forest, high alpine pastures provide good grazing and undisturbed habitat for wildlife. It’s prominence on the wilderness zone of mountains designed to provide outstanding mountain views, and to get away from the tea-house trails and into the forests and villages that have not felt the impact of tourism.

Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon arrival at the airport, clear all the immigration formalities and outside the airport, our team members will be waiting outside with the Pla-card. You will then be transferred to the hotel. Remaining day at leisure or stroll around the area. Overnight at Hotels in Kathmandu (-/-/-)
Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit some of the UNESCO heritage site along with some last minutes trekking shopping. First visit the Pashupatinath. The magnificent Pashupatinath temple which with its astonishing architectural beauty is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath is also Nepal's most renowned Hindu cremation site. Then we will visit Swayambunath. Swayambunath a UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site is an ancient stupa is the most sacred Buddhist shrines of Nepal and is also known as a Self-Created stupa. The stupa lies in the heart of the valley above a hill. Later visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu, the largest city of Nepal is the political as well as the cultural capital of the country. Kathmandu is blessed by a living goddess. The Kumari Devi is the most important of several living goddesses in Nepal. Walk across the Ason Bazaar exploring the spices and vegetable market all the way to Thamel a buzzing, visitor-friendly area. Also, Thamel is the ultimate place for trekkers to buy all the trekking stuffs, ranging from local to international brand, once can buy or rent trekking items as needed. Note: The Museum is under the restoration process. Later drive back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotels in Kathmandu (B/-/-)
Drive to Pokhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will drive to Pokhara which take approx. 5 – 6 hrs.On the way enjoy the scenic drive along the Trishuli river. Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes, and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. Upon arrival, at Pokhara, check in to the hotel. After lunch (own your own expense), we will stroll around the Lakeside and visit Bindabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. Drive to Kade, Trek to Kokar
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, meet the trekking crew member, and you will be transferred to Kade, which is about an hour drive. From Kade, commence the trek through Australian Camp (2100m), from where one can witness the magnificent view of the Annapurna range and Pokhara valley (weather permitted). Continue the trail to Deurali passing through the beautiful, lush green jungle and towards Kokar also called Forest Camp. NOTE: From Day 4 to Day 6, the accommodation will be on a simple lodge with basic and limited facilities. Overnight at Simple Lodge (B/L/D)
Trek to High Camp
Start the day early with breakfast towards High Camp. The trek passes through the beautiful rhododendron forest. If luck, one can catch glimpses of the wildlife in these regions like Himalayan Thar, Musk deer, spotted Deer, Barking Dear, Snow leopard. Once ascend begins, the landscape starts to change with the moss, lichen, and ferns covering the trees. After an hour trek to Low Camp, the trail reaches out above the tree line where once can witness the magnificent mountains like Annapurna South and Hiunchuli (weather permitted). The trail continues along the ridge of Mardi Himal and towards the Badal danda. From Badal Danda, the trail leaves the tree line and enters into the alpine zone from where the hike will be on the grassland. Continue the trail to reach our destination, High Camp. High Camp is a beautiful and small pasture land from where once can witness the beautiful snow-capped peaks in close. Overnight at Simple Lodge (B/L/D)
Day excursion to Mardi Base Camp and trek to Middle Camp
Start your day real early to Mardi Base Camp to witness the sunrise view over the Himalayas, situated at the elevation 4500m. This can be a challenging day for beginners and learner as the trail is steep, rocky, and uneven; however, the amazing view all around will keep you motivated. Upon reaching the Mardi Himal Base Camp, treat yourself with the panoramic view of the gorgeous Mardi Himal, Mt. Macchahahpuchahre, Hiuchuli are right above you. Other Himalayan range like Annapurna I, II and Gangapurna can be witnessed too. After the excursion to Mardi Base Camp, we trace our way back to Middle camp (3200m) for overnight. Trek to Sidding and drive back to Pokhara
Enjoy the last breakfast in the Annapurna Region and start the trek for hours via low camp to Sidding village (1700m) or Kalimati. Walk a bit further where the vehicle will be waiting for you and will be transferred to Pokhara which is approx. 2 to 3 hours drive. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to the hotel, where the remaining day will be at leisure. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara (B/L/-)
Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast at the hotel we will drive back to Kathmandu. Remaining at Kathmandu will be at leisure. Overnight at Hotels in Kathmandu (B/-/-)
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Today, depending on the flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
