Drive to Pokhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will drive to Pokhara which take approx. 6 hrs. On the way enjoy the scenic drive along the Trishuli river. Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes, and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. Upon arrival, at Pokhara, check in to the hotel. After lunch (own your own expense), we will stroll around the Lakeside and visit Bindabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. : In Pokhara Early morning drive to Sarangot, a beautiful village located on a mountainside ridge at an altitude of 1600 m with panoramic Himalaya views. Enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. After some leisure time, we will start our full-day sightseeing tour. Enjoy boating at the Phewa Taal, the second largest lake in Nepal. The lake is stream-fed but the dam regulates the water reserve, therefore it is classified as a semi-natural fresh lake. Then visit the Barahi Temple, also known as the island temple surrounded by the Phewa Lake offering a marvelous view. After lunch (own your own expense), visit World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist Stupa built by the Buddhist monks of the Japanese Nipponza Fuji organization at a narrow ridge above the Phewa Tal. We then drive down to visit Davis fall. Just across the cave is Gupteshwor Cave, one of the longest caves in Nepal. Later drive back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara (B/-/-)
Drive to Bandipur
After breakfast, we depart to Bandipur. The hilltop settlement of Bandipur is considered one of the charming town throughout Nepal. An effort made by the town to retain the age-old flavor of the Newari culture, the town is surrounded by pristine forests. Derelict buildings have been reborn as cafes and lodges, and temples and civic buildings have been pulled back from the edge of ruin. Well preserved Bandipur has retained its age-old cultural attributes - temples, shrines, sacred caves, innumerable festivals, and a Newari architecture and offers rich hill culture, mountain views, and hiking. With its attractive 18th-century architecture, pedestrian zone and outdoor dining, it has a distinctly European feel.
Upon arrival at Bandipur, we will visit Khadga Devi temple. Located 15 minutes’ walk away from the main bazaar, the Khadga Devi temple us a wide flight of stone steps that leads up the hillside to this barn-like temple, which enshrines the sword of Mukunda Sen, the 16th-century king of Palpa. Supposedly a gift from Shiva, the blade is revered as a symbol of shakti and once a year during Dasain it gets a taste of sacrificial blood.
We will the walk to Bindabyasini Temple. Located at the northeast end of the bazaar, the temple dedicated to Lord Durga. This ornate, two-tiered pagoda style temple consists of ancient walls are covered in carvings. During New Year, local celebrate festivals in the name of the goddess Bindabyasini.
Also visit Padma Library. Facing across the Bindabyasini temple, at the centre of the Bandipur Bazaar is the Padma library, a striking 18th-century building with carved windows and beams. The library is important because it was built by the special permission from the Ranas, thus reflecting the power of Bandipur during the Rana time. Being small, the library is famous for its architecture and design. The library contains books from the time of Rana administration and thus is also preserving the historical sources of the village.

Drive back to Kathmandu
Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we will visit Pashupatinath. The magnificent Pashupatinath temple which with its astonishing architectural beauty is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath is also Nepal's most renowned Hindu cremation site. Later visit Boudhanath, the UNESCO heritage site is one of the most imposing landmark and a center of Tibetan Buddhism. The stupa stands on a massive three level mandala style platform. This stupa is one of the largest in the world. Offer butter lamps and prayer flags. Subject to extra cost.
