  • How challenging is the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek?

The easiest trek in Nepal's Annapurna region is probably the Ghorepani Poon hill trek. The walking distance between settlements varies daily, but you typically need to walk 4 to 6 hours per day. You can succeed if you are just physically and psychologically healthy.
It is a 4-day walking vacation, however only the first two days will involve climbing through a rhododendron forest, while the latter two days will simply involve descending through a forest and villages.

  • Is there equipment provided by the trekking company for the Ghorepani trek?

Actually, the trekking agency will only provide you with a limited number of items. The trekking agency typically gives hiking pools, sleeping bags, down jackets, and trekking maps, but you are responsible for managing the rest of the equipment.
There are several trekking shops in and around Kathmandu and Pokhara, so if you need to purchase anything before starting your trek, we can help you do so at a fair price.

  • Is there a risk of AMS (acute mountain sickness) on the Ghorepani trek?

The trek up Ghorepani Poon Hill is simple and low-elevation. Usually, after ascending above 3500 meters, persons may get altitude sickness.

If your timetable is particularly tight, traveling from Kathmandu to Kathmandu will only take four days; but, if you are already in Pokhara, it will only take two days. • What amount of local cash must I bring with me for the Ghorepani trek?

You will receive almost everything you need for this trek from your trek organizer, including meals, lodging, the wages of your guide and porter, transportation, and a hotel in Pokhara. However, there are some extra costs, including donations, the cost of mountain souvenirs, water, hot showers, battery charges, Wi-Fi, and tips for the field staff. For all extra activities, you should bring 2500 Nepali rupees per day per person, which should be enough for the four nights and five days of the Ghoepani trek.

  • How is the accommodation while traveling to poon hill?

The majority of rooms are twin share and offer plenty of room for movement. Most have separate bathroom and toilet facilities, though our teahouse in Ghorepani had an ensuite with hot showers! There will also be a public space that doubles as a dining hall with either a fireplace or boiler to cuddle up next to on chilly evenings.
The teahouse where you are staying is also a relatively common place to have dinner, and they usually ask you to place your order when you check in. There are typically places to charge your equipment in the communal area, but you might have to pay a modest price to use them.
