Additionally, compared to the EBC walk, the air in the Annapurna region has more oxygen due to the lush trees at low altitudes.

Has there ever been a fatal hike to ABC trek?

Additionally, it is wise to gather information before traveling through the area, which is famously treacherous, particularly during the winter and wet seasons.
What do I need to bring for the ABC trek?
On the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you should bring just enough for at least 8 days' worth of travel. You won't be able to enjoy your trip across the Himalayas if you don't pack wisely. You will spend the entire trek sleeping in tiny lodges or teahouses because it is a lodge-to-lodge trek. It may get colder at higher elevations, especially during the cold months, so you need to be ready with the appropriate gear and equipment.
How much time do you spend at ABC?
Depending on which route you take, the 115 km (72 mi) round trip to the Annapurna Base Camp trek can be completed in 7 to 11 days. Depending again on the route, the majority of Annapurna base camp itineraries allow 7 days to get to the base camp and 3 days to get back down. It implies that you will spend at least 18 to 20 hours at Annapurna base camp.
What symptoms appear first in altitude sickness?
The first symptoms typically appear 12 to 24 hours after reaching high altitudes. The symptoms of altitude sickness vary depending on its severity. Mild, transient altitude sickness symptoms include lightheadedness, exhaustion, appetite loss, trouble sleeping, a general lack of energy, and shortness of breath. These symptoms can occasionally be accompanied by headaches, nauseousness, and vomiting.
Does the ABC region have mobile service?
Cell phone networks are present on all of the paths in the Annapurna Base Camp trip, yes. The majority of the small towns and hiking routes are covered by the NCell or NTC networks for cell phone service. Network coverage, however, may be very limited or nonexistent in some places.
What kind of food and lodging are available to me throughout the ABC trek?
Similar to the Everest base camp hike, the meals and lodging are offered at Annapurna base camp. Wherever possible, we always reserve the nicest lodge with two mattresses in each room, western toilets, and solar hot showers to provide a restful night's sleep. The lodging will be minimal as you move above Deurali and closer to base camp, with shared restrooms and bucket showers. For information on food options, PLEASE refer to the Everest base camp hike section; it is essentially the same for the Annapurna region as well.
